Description

We are currently seeking a skilled Locum MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in Cardiology. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing temporary medical services to our clients in East Stroudsburg. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring the well-being of patients and the success of various cardiology projects.

As a Locum MD or DO in Cardiology, you will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing cardiovascular conditions on a temporary basis. Your contributions will directly impact patient outcomes and contribute to the overall success of our healthcare projects. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and make a difference in the lives of individuals seeking cardiology care.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough patient consultations and examinations.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for cardiovascular conditions.
  • Perform diagnostic tests and procedures as needed.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding cardiac health.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
  • Adhere to all relevant medical standards, regulations, and guidelines.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to discuss patient cases and treatment strategies.
Requirements:
  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
  • Board certification in Cardiology.
  • Valid state medical license to practice as a physician.
  • Proven experience in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular diseases.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in patient care.
  • Flexibility to adapt to different healthcare settings and patient populations.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 8a-4:30p

No call shifts

Daily Census: 16 patients

Setting: outpatient

EMR:
Epic

Support Staff:
Medical assistant, patient service assistant, nurse triage

Must be board-certified

Paid travel & lodging
