A busy hospital is seeking an anesthesiologist for locum tenens coverage.

The facility is located in East Stroudsburg, PA.

Providers must be Board Certified and able to supervise CRNAs. The facility has an excellent culture, and start dates may be flexible. Car rental/mileage stipend is $250 per week, and lodging/housing stipend is $110 per day. Shifts are 8 hours, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, and providers are expected to work the full shift duration, excluding the unpaid lunch break.

Case types include OB, Ortho, General B&B, with minimal Pediatrics and no Neuro/Heads. CRNAs are medically directed, and physicians occasionally perform their own cases. Supervision ratio is 2-3:1, with the opportunity for independent cases, though not mandatory. Required call includes second call with beeper 1-2 times per week and occasional 24-hour in-house call. Privileging typically takes 6-8 weeks.
