Assistant Teacher / Teacher’s Aide

The Growing Tree Day Care & Learning Center

• $1,000 sign‑on bonus and the advertised rate of pay after 6 months.
• Your starting rate of pay is $3 per hour less.
• Yearly raise and bonuses.
• Full‑time employees receive PTO, paid vacation, paid holidays, paid sick/personal days.
• Part‑time employees receive paid holidays.
• Employees with children that attend the center pay only 10%.
• Full‑time employees receive health care and 401(k) with company match.

• Full‑time shifts: 8:30 am–5:30 pm with 1‑hour lunch.
• Part‑time shifts: 30 hrs/week, 12:30 pm–6:30 pm.
• 25 hrs/week, 1:30 pm–6:30 pm.
• 20 hrs or less per week with flexible start times between 2:30 pm–4 pm until 6:30 pm.
• AM/PM split shift available.
• AM hours: 6:30 am–8:30 am.
• Add AM hours to any PM shift and pay travel time.

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• College students enrolled in education or a related field (preferred but not required).
• Anyone with daycare experience preferred.

• Must be willing to take at least 3 online education courses to achieve CDA.
• 95 % of tuition and books covered.
• Opportunity to achieve Associate’s and/or Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education with 95 % of costs covered.
• College students:
  Mon–Fri preferred but not necessary. Schedule flexibility offered.
