Pyramid Healthcare offers comprehensive behavioral healthcare and is hiring a Cook at its facility in East Stroudsburg, PA. Join a team that supports your growth from Day One, with opportunities to advance and explore different departments.

11:00 am – 7:00 pm

$15 per hour

• Slice and chop food according to meal requirements
• Prepare salads and portion desserts into containers
• Stock juices and milk, and assist the Lead Cook when needed
• Serve meals to clients and ensure timely placement of food on the serving line
• Follow assigned menu using sanitary guidelines
• Restock cups, napkins, forks, and spoons as needed
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils
• Clean table tops and dining area after each meal
• Record daily temperatures of the refrigeration system and food
• Perform cleaning duties assigned by supervisor, including sweeping and mopping
• Accept food deliveries and check orders correctly
• Other duties as assigned

• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous food preparation experience preferred
• Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and ability to operate kitchen equipment preferred
• Serv Safe certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
