Lift Supervisor Required - Ipswich (IP12)

PROMAN Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced Lift Supervisor to join a busy construction project in Ipswich (IP12). This is an excellent opportunity to work with a reputable contractor on a long-term project, ensuring safe and efficient lifting operations on site.

Location:

Ipswich, IP12
Pay Rate: £25.00 per hour (UTR/CIS)

Hours:

Monday to Friday | 7:30am - 5:00pm

The Role

As a Lift Supervisor, you will play a key role in coordinating and overseeing all lifting activities on site, ensuring operations are carried out safely and in line with current regulations.

✅ Key Responsibilities

️ Supervise and coordinate all lifting operations on site
Review lift plans and method statements before operations commence
Ensure lifting activities are conducted safely and in accordance with site procedures and regulations
Liaise with crane operators, slinger/signallers, and site management teams
️ Conduct pre-lift briefings and ensure all personnel understand the lifting plan
Monitor lifting operations to maintain safety and efficiency at all times
Maintain clear communication across the site team

Requirements

✅ Valid CPCS or NPORS Lift Supervisor Ticket (essential)
✅ Previous experience working as a Lift Supervisor on construction sites
✅ Strong understanding of lifting regulations and safety procedures
✅ Ability to effectively manage and coordinate lifting teams
✅ Excellent communication and leadership skills
✅ Full PPE
