We are currently seeking caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants / Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to join a range of welcoming and inclusive schools across Bungayand the surrounding areas.

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of pupils by providing classroom support, encouraging confidence and independence, and helping children overcome barriers to learning.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other education professionals to support pupils both individually and in small groups.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Supporting pupils in the classroom to access learning activities.
  • Working one-to-one with children who require additional support.
  • Assisting pupils with SEND, including autism, ADHD and social, emotional and mental health needs.
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement with learning.
  • Helping to create a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
  • Supporting pupils' social, emotional and academic development.
  • Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and classroom organisation.
What We’re Looking For

We would love to hear from candidates who:

  • Have a genuine passion for working with children and young people.
  • Are patient, supportive and resilient.
  • Have strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
  • Are adaptable and confident working in a school environment.
  • Have previous experience in education, childcare, care, youth work or support work (desirable but not essential).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
