Senior Engineer

Location: Sizewell

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Engineer to join an established civil engineering contractor delivering works on a marine civils project. This is an excellent opportunity to be involved in the delivery of complex marine and coastal infrastructure works within a challenging and technically engaging environment.

Roles & Responsibilities

* Supporting the Site Agent in the delivery of marine civils works in accordance with drawings, specifications, and programme

* Managing and supporting site engineers with setting out and day-to-day engineering activities

* Assisting with short-term planning, method statements, and risk assessments

* Monitoring progress and ensuring works are delivered to programme

* Managing QA documentation, ITPs, and as-built records

* Carrying out site inspections and quality checks to ensure works meet required standards

* Ensuring works are carried out safely and in line with HSEQ requirements

* Liaising with the site management, engineering, and commercial teams to resolve technical and construction issues

Senior Engineer Requirements

* Previous experience working as a Senior Engineer on civil engineering projects

* Experience working on marine civils, coastal, or marine infrastructure schemes preferred

* Strong understanding of setting out, quality assurance, and programme delivery

* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

* Valid CSCS Card

* SMSTS or SSSTS preferred
