Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech? Vishay Dale Electronics – East Windsor, CT is currently seeking applicants for an Equipment Maintenance Technician – 1st Shift. Overtime is available as needed. Responsible for producing Vishay products that meet and exceed quality and customer expectations.

Performs electrical and/or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro‑mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process and facilitates the repair of that equipment to support the demands of production. Performs periodic maintenance on all assigned equipment. Work assignments are made by automated methods and are assigned via cell‑phone text messaging. Completion of work assignments are entered into the maintenance program by the maintenance technician.

Equipment priorities must be determined by production demands and interface with production supervisors. Directions come from the lead person, but most daily maintenance activities are self‑governed and self‑driven.

Vishay Dale Electronics, East Windsor, CT is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of resistors and e‑beam technology. There are around 40 employees currently working in East Windsor.

• Dismantles, adjusts, repairs, and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches, or drawings.
• Performs required Lock‑Out / Tag‑Out procedures per company policy.
• Makes accurate inputs of repair actions into the maintenance program via keyboard entry as they occur.
• Receives and prioritises machine repair actions for assigned area.
• Monitors weekly and monthly manpower reports for errors and ensures that documentation accurately reflects effort.
• Performs preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment. Utilises “PM Change Forms” to facilitate predictive maintenance.

• 2‑year degree in Industrial Electro/Mechanical Systems Maintenance or documented 5 years of equivalent experience.
• Specific training in Electrical and/or Electronic Theory.
• Specific training in Mechanical System maintenance.
• Demonstrates the ability to perform the assigned tasks within 12 weeks of hiring.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical diagrams, and all source materials related to the operation and maintenance of equipment.
