Semi Senior Accountant

Position: Semi Senior Accountant (Permanent)
Our client is a well-established chartered accountancy practice based in Eastbourne, East Sussex. They are seeking an experienced Semi Senior Accountant or Trainee accountant to join their team. The successful Accounts Semi Senior will ideally be AAT qualified and/ or ACA or ACCA part qualified, or qualified by experience. This is a mixed tax & accounts position, ideal for an experienced Semi Senior Accountant or Accounts trainee looking to join a growing team with exceptional exposure on offer.

Within this position, the successful Semi-Senior Accountant will be given excellent opportunities to progress within their knowledge and career while working with a supportive team. They will also be offered AAT/ ACCA/ACA study support.

Preparation of statutory accounts

Preparation of management accounts for a variety of clients

Preparation of corporate tax and personal tax computations

Preparation of VAT returns

General bookkeeping using cloud software
- Xero, Quick Books, Sage etc.

Supporting the directors with ad-hoc advisory work

Assisting more junior members of staff

Requirements

You will be AAT qualified or part qualified, or ACA/ACCA part qualified, or qualified by experience

You will have a minimum of 2 years experience within practice.

Experience of cloud software such as Iris, Xero, Sage or Quick Books would be advantageous.

Benefits £27,000 - £35,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable.
