A long-standing and extremely reputable local accountancy practiceare looking for a Senior Accounts Manager to take real ownership of a varied client portfolio, and to help shape the team around them. If you want a role where your voice carries weight with the partner and your development matters just as much as client delivery, this is worth a proper look.

• Managing a broad accounts-focused portfolio, with some tax compliance work mixed in
• Holding client meetings directly, building relationships that go beyond the numbers
• Mentoring and managing a team, helping them grow their own technical skills
• Planning and overseeing work in progress across your portfolio
• Getting involved in business development, spotting opportunities within existing client relationships

• Solid experience managing a mixed accounts and tax portfolio within practice
• Confidence leading client meetings and building trust quickly
• Proven people management skills, whether that is one junior or a small team
• A relevant accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA or equivalent)

Circa £50,000 to £60,000, reporting directly to the partner rather than sitting several layers down. That means your ideas get heard and your progression is not stuck behind a queue of other managers.
