Business Operations Associate - AI, Automation and Projects
Brighton remote/hybrid with occasional travel
£32,000-£40,000 DOE
Permanent, full-time
Our client is an established, growing business with interests in proprty and infrastructure. It's expanding into new sectors and wants a capable all-rounder to help it work smarter as it grows. You'll report directly to a senior director in a varied, hands-on role. A big part of it is helping the business put AI, automation and better systems to work: finding what can be done smarter, then building it and making it stick.
Alongside that, you'll get involved in:
- A range of business projects
- Supporting portfolio management and reporting
- Occasional site visits and meetings
- Admin and general business support, keeping things moving
This is not an IT or developer role. You don't need to code. What matters is that you're comfortable with AI tools and enjoy using them to solve real problems.
What we're looking for- You've built or run things yourself using tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, Zapier, Make, Power Automate, Airtable, Notion or advanced Excel, and you can tell us about it
- A practical, well-rounded person who's happy to get stuck into anything, from a systems project to day-to-day admin
- Organised, with a good eye for detail and data
- A self-starter who works well remotely and independently
- Lives within reach of Sussex or London, and can travel occasionally
- Experience in property, infrastructure or a related sector. It isn't essential
- Experience at a smaller or growing business where you wore several hats
- Real variety and influence, working closely with a senior director
- The chance to shape how a growing business uses AI and technology
- A culture that actively encourages AI and gives you room to try new tools
- Flexible remote/hybrid working
