This Full time on site position offers great opportunities for career growth.

Zephyr Tech installs solar, battery storage and EV chargers across the South East.

Every lead we generate comes from video — and we want to massively increase how much we make.

You’ll be our first full-time content hire, owning filming and editing end to end.

— a typical week Roughly 2 days out, 3 days in.

• Film active installs — panels going up, battery fit-offs, EV charger installs, scaffold-up to handover
• Customer interviews and testimonials on camera — you’ll need to put homeowners at ease and pull natural soundbites
• Time-lapses, drone footage (if licensed — a plus, not required), before/afters, team and behind-the-scenes content
• Shoot everything as reusable stock, not just for one edit — you’re building a footage library, and every job gets logged into it

• Cut short-form ads for Meta, Instagram and Tik Tok — hooks, captions, sound, pacing built for feed
• Produce multiple variants per concept: same footage, different hooks, openings, text overlays and lengths, so we can test what converts
• Work from weekly creative briefs driven by our ad performance data — we tell you which angles are winning and dying; you make the next batch
• Ingest, tag and organise the footage library so any clip is findable in minutes
• Thumbnails, cover frames and basic graphics/motion text for ads
• Longer cuts when needed: case study films, website content, occasional recruitment or brand pieces

this is a volume role. We’d rather ship ten strong edits a week and let the data pick winners than wait a month for one perfect film.

You’ll agree a weekly shipping cadence with us and own hitting it.

• Edit in Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve (tell us which — either is fine);
  After Effects or Resolve Fusion for motion text a plus
• Comfortable with vertical/9:16 delivery specs for Meta and Tik Tok
• Organised media management — proxies, project templates, a tidy drive structure you maintain
• We also run AI-assisted creative tooling for image and video generation — you don’t need experience with it, but you’ll be expected to learn it and fold it into your workflow to multiply your output
• Own camera kit a bonus, not required — we’ll fund the kit list you need (camera, audio, gimbal, lighting)

• Strong shooting AND editing — hands‑on craft role, not a strategy or social‑media‑manager role
• High output and fast turnaround; you ship, then improve
• Happy on active job sites — ladders, weather, hi‑vis, working around trades
• Short‑form native: you know what stops a thumb
• Full UK driving licence (essential — sites are spread across the South East)

• £28–32k DOE, kit budget, and total creative ownership of a fast‑growing company’s content
• Your work directly generates our revenue — you’ll see the lead numbers your videos produce, weekly

Pay: £26,000.00-£34,000.00 per year
