Most practices are looking for an associate to fill a diary.
We’re looking for the next long-term member of our team, someone we can invest in, mentor and grow alongside for years.Beatty Dental is an independent, family-run private practice in Eastbourne with an established patient base and a strong reputation for high-quality, patient-centred dentistry.
We are looking for an exceptional Associate Dentist to take over approximately 2 clinical days from our Principal Dentist
, with genuine scope to increase sessions as the practice continues to grow.
We are a multi-award-winning practice
, including Best Dental Practice at the 2026 East Sussex Business Awards
, and 2026 Private Dentistry Awards finalists for Digital Practice of the Year and Treatment of Nervous Patients
. We have also been recognised for Best Customer Experience
.
This is an opportunity for a dentist who wants more than simply a busy diary. You’ll be joining a practice that genuinely values clinical excellence, continual development, collaboration and long‑term patient relationships.
You’ll have access to a highly digital clinical environment including:
- Intraoral scanning
- In-house CAD, milling and 3D printing
- Operating microscope
- Live-streaming and recording for clinical demonstrations and learning
- Experienced nursing and Treatment Co-ordinator support
- A supportive team that shares knowledge openly
- Freedom to develop your own clinical interests and specialisms
Our Principal Dentist is committed to mentorship and professional development, while giving associates the autonomy to grow in the areas that interest them most. Whether your ambitions lie in restorative and aesthetic dentistry, endodontics, aligners, implants or another area, we want to create an environment in which you can continue to develop.
We’re looking for someone who:- Has high clinical and ethical standards
- Takes genuine pride in their dentistry
- Enjoys building long-term relationships with patients
- Is confident, compassionate and an excellent communicator
- Is collaborative, feedback-seeking and enjoys being part of a team
- Is comfortable with, or enthusiastic about, digital dentistry
- Has the curiosity and ambition to keep developing clinically
- Wants to contribute ideas and have a genuine say in how the practice grows
Private practice experience, postgraduate qualifications, a clinical portfolio and additional clinical interests are preferred, but they are not essential
.
What matters most to us is attitude, integrity, curiosity and a commitment to continually improving
.
“Technical ability alone doesn’t make a great dentist: curiosity, integrity and a commitment to improving do. We’ve built a team that shares knowledge openly and never stops raising the bar. If that excites you, I’d love to meet you.”
If you’re looking for somewhere to simply turn up, treat patients and go home, there may be easier options.
But if you’re looking for a practice that will challenge you, support you, invest in you and give you genuine scope to grow
, we’d very much like to hear from you.
Location: Eastbourne, East Sussex
Days: 2 days per week initially, with genuine scope to grow
Practice type: Independent private practice
