Instructor – East Sussex County Council (Buzz Active)
Do you love being outdoors and helping others discover adventure on the water and in the woods? If you do, you could be part of our instructor team at Buzz Active, delivering unforgettable outdoor experiences across three stunning East Sussex locations.
Responsibilities- Deliver high‑quality sessions for people of all ages across land and water‑based activities.
- Maintain equipment and support group experiences from day visits to residential stays.
- Depending on qualifications, teach sailing or paddle sports, lead climbing or archery sessions, or assist with residential adventure programmes.
- Support schools, youth groups, and the public as part of a passionate, supportive team.
- Full Season contract: 30 March – 4 October 2026
- Peak Season contract: 25 May – 6 September 2026
- Full season contracts have the option of annualised pay over 12 months from April–April.

Candidate Requirements- Hold relevant RYA, British Canoeing or land‑based instructional qualifications (e.g. Archery GB, Climbing Wall Instructor).
- Enjoy working outdoors with young people and diverse groups.
- Can work flexibly across weekends and evenings.
- Have a positive, team‑focused attitude and a passion for helping others learn new skills.
