Edu Talent Group is recruiting a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to work with pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Profound and Multiple Learning Disability (PMLD) in a supportive Eastbourne school. This role is temp to perm offering the opportunity to grow within the school.
Key Responsibilities- Support pupils with ASD and PMLD in class and small group settings
- Assist teachers with lesson delivery and classroom organisation
- Promote positive behaviour engagement and independence
- Adapt resources and strategies to meet individual needs.
- Foster inclusion, social skills and emotional wellbeing
- Experience supporting pupils with ASD and / or MLD
- Ability to build strong positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Patient, empathetic and resilient
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
- Hourly rate: £13.75 - £14.50
- Temp to perm role with a supportive school
