This part-time role offers the opportunity to support the health and wellbeing of students across the Primary and Secondary phases of the all-through school, working closely with the Deputy Head Teacher for Behaviour, Attitudes and Safeguarding and the wider Pastoral Support Team.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Deputy Head Teacher and Pastoral Support Team to develop, implement and review a whole-school health strategy covering mental health, physical health, first aid and medical needs.
- Provide strategic leadership in supporting student mental health and wellbeing across both school phases.
- Ensure that appropriate support is delivered at the right time and in partnership with staff and external services.
- Substantial experience working with children and young people in an educational or pastoral context.
- Knowledge of relevant health and safeguarding practices.
