The post is subject to the Childcare Disqualification Regulations 2018. Applicants must demonstrate they are not disqualified under these regulations and may need a waiver from Ofsted if they are.
The post requires satisfactory DBS Enhanced clearance and references.
About the Role- Fixed‑term position covering maternity leave from September 2026, subject to a successful one‑year probationary period.
- Position based at Hazel Court Secondary School; paid hours are 32.5 per week.
- Salary range: £32,916–£45,352 (main pay scale) plus an SEN allowance of £2,787 per annum.
- Candidates may be required to work at any of the Trust’s sites.
- Qualified teacher with QTS or QTLS status.
- Innovative, creative and passionate about supporting individual learners.
- Committed to developing independence, communication and self‑regulation in pupils.
- Collaborative and willing to work with parents, carers and other professionals.
- Experience or willingness to support pupils with a range of special educational needs.
- Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are welcome to apply.
