We are a fourth‑generation family business that leads the UK marketplace, supplying decorating materials to both trade and DIY consumers. Operating from over 250 Decorator Centres nationwide, we also have several healthy and developing e‑commerce businesses.

We’re looking for an experienced Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager to join our Finance team. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will lead the financial planning cycle across the business, including budgeting, forecasting and long‑term strategic financial modelling. You will provide essential insight that supports senior leadership decision‑making, identify opportunities and mitigate risks, coach a small team, and work closely with leaders and stakeholders across the business.

• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting and strategic financial planning processes.
• Consolidate Group Trading P&L across branches, e‑commerce and subsidiaries.
• Prepare long‑term financial models, scenario planning and investment appraisals.
• Support acquisition evaluations and due diligence.
• Deliver accurate month‑end reporting and Board presentations.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities and drive efficiency improvements.
• Develop FP&A capability within the Finance team.

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with a passion for strategic planning and analysis.
• Strong background and experience in an FP&A Management role with focus on long‑term financial modelling.
• Strong experience in investment appraisal.
• Experience working in a multi‑site retail or trade merchant business (omni‑channel).
• Excellent analytical skills and advanced MS Excel proficiency.
• Commercial awareness and ability to influence key stakeholders in decision‑making.
• Proven leadership skills that promote collaborative working with demonstrable experience of managing and developing teams.
