Specialist Theatre Practitioner; Scrub Nurse

We are looking for a dynamic Band 6 Senior Theatre Practitioner who would like to develop their leadership and management skills and practice. This post is within the main Theatres complex. The successful applicant will be expected to work across all specialities when required. You will be a flexible and adaptable leader with high standards and attention to detail. Our specialities are a combination of Urology, General surgery, Breast Surgery, Gynae.

• Registered Nurse or Registered Operating Department Practitioner
• Evidence of relevant CPD/Revalidation documents
• Multi skilled competencies within the Operating Theatres
• Educated to degree level
• Management/leadership course

• Two years experience as a Registered Practitioner within Theatres demonstrating areas of responsibility and management.
• Multi skilled competencies within the Operating Theatres.
• Experience in leading a clinical area/operating sessions.
