Assembly​/Finisher

We are recruiting on behalf of a well‑established manufacturing client for an Assembly / Finisher to join their team in Eastbourne. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone with experience in assembly, finishing, or fitting who takes pride in producing high quality work.

You will play a key role in ensuring components meet strict quality standards, working within a clean, organised, and safety focused environment.

• Finish components to a high standard, ensuring surfaces are free from defects
• Carry out testing and inspection operations on chambers
• Set up and operate leak testing equipment (mass spectrometry)
• Assemble and fit components in line with technical requirements
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and organised workspace
• Follow all health & safety and quality procedures

• Previous experience in finishing, fitting, or assembly
• Experience working within a manufacturing or engineering environment
• Confident using handheld power tools
• Good understanding of quality standards and attention to detail
• Experience with in UHV / HV environments
• Ability to work on complex small and large assemblies
• Good level of physical fitness and manual dexterity

• Hands‑on and practical with a strong work ethic
• Highly detail‑oriented with good organisational skills
• Reliable and able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Takes pride in producing high‑quality work
