Critical Care Audit Nurse – Band 6

Critical Care is fully committed to audit and provides a dynamic environment conducive to gaining additional knowledge and skills. We are looking for a Critical Care Audit Nurse to assist the team with managing, organising and delivering a high standard of audit & data.

• Work closely with the Band 7 – Audit Lead Nurse and other audit nurses, supporting and promoting a cohesive audit team.
• Ensure the provision of high quality data and use it to maintain quality care for critically ill patients.
• Collaborate with the Data Lead Sister to input and validate data for submission internally to management and externally to ICNARC, NHSE and the Critical Care Network.
• Undertake unit audits and use this data to produce reports for submission to the management team.
• Maintain excellent communication, IT/computer and interpersonal skills and act as a role model, demonstrating passion for audit and its role in maintaining quality and safety.

• Registered nurse with at least 2 years of critical care experience.
• Completed critical care course.
• Excellent IT skills and high levels of concentration.
• Motivated and passionate about audit.
