Food and Beverage Assistant - Bank

• Support the dining service and assist residents with their meals.
• Help residents choose their meal options at the time of dining.
• Ensure dining tables are set in accordance with the standard operating procedures.
• Keep front of house clean, tidy and well-presented, and ensure dirty crockery is removed and replenished throughout the day.
• Ensure fresh homemade cakes/biscuits are accessible in the bistro areas and are replenished throughout the day, along with finger food and fresh fruit options.
• Be aware of residents  dietary requirements.

Your focus as a Food and Beverage Team Member will be to support with the dining service and assist residents with their meals.

Other responsibilities include:

• Supporting the residents with choosing their meal options at the time of dining.
• Ensuring that dining tables are set in accordance with the standard operating procedures.

• Ensuring fresh homemade cakes/biscuits are replenished in the bistro areas, along with finger food and fresh fruit options.
• Being aware of residents  dietary requirements.

• Demonstrate high standards of personal hygiene.
• Demonstrate compassion and commitment to the delivery of culinary services to residents.
• Experience of working in a similar setting; restaurant or hotel experience is desirable.
• A basic Food Hygiene Certificate would be beneficial.

• A DBS Disclosure check, the cost of which will be met by Avery Healthcare.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
