Are you an experienced Social Worker? We are looking for a motivated Forensic Social Worker to join our multidisciplinary team, come and help make the difference in East Sussex!
The community Forensic Social Work Team provides social supervision to people who have been conditionally discharged. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Forensic Social Worker to join our multidisciplinary team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced social worker with a passion for working at the interface of social care, mental health, criminal justice, and safeguarding.
As a Forensic Social Worker, you will work with individuals whose circumstances involve offending behaviour, mental health needs, risk management, and complex social care challenges. You will play a key role in promoting sustaining independent living in the community, reducing risk, safeguarding vulnerable individuals, and supporting positive outcomes for the person, families, and communities.
We Are Looking For Someone Who- Holds a recognised Social Work qualification (Degree, Dip SW, CQSW or equivalent).
- Is registered with Social Work England.
- Has experience working within forensic mental health, adult social care, criminal justice, or safeguarding environments.
- Demonstrates strong assessment, analytical, and report-writing skills.
- Has a thorough understanding of relevant legislation and best practice.
- Can effectively manage complex cases and competing priorities.
- Possesses excellent communication and partnership-working skills.
