School Monitor, Probationary Eastchester High SchoolThe Eastchester School District is seeking candidates for the probationary position of school monitor assigned to work one to one with various students with special need in the Eastchester High School. Ideal candidates are those who are energetic, patient, flexible, and have experience working with special needs students.
Requirements- Ability to work effectively with high school age children with special needs;
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents and staff;
- Ability to take oral and written directives;
- Ability to assist student(s) with transitions and academic demands;
- NYSED Fingerprint Clearance
- 10-month, probationary position, beginning immediately
- Hours:
7:06 AM - 2:40 PM, Monday - Friday (49 min lunch) - Salary Range:
In accordance with the Eastchester Monitors' Association (EMA) negotiated salary schedule, $19.79 - $25.73 per hour, step placement contingent upon prior relevant experience
