Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor

Location: East Kilbride, Central Scotland

Salary/Benefits: £26k - £42k + Training & Benefits

Our client is a medium-sized Asbestos consultancy, who have a strong presence in the Central Belt of Scotland. They are recruiting for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor, to undertake thorough Asbestos Surveys across a range of commercial, local authority and domestic premises. It is essential that candidates have a proven track record within the industry, and must hold the BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent.

• Will hold the BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent
• Experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor, within a UKAS accredited company
• Excellent working knowledge of UKAS and HSG 264 compliance standards
• Professional manner
• Flexible to travel in line with company needs
• Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills

• Undertaking management, refurbishment, demolition and re‑inspection asbestos surveys
• Working across a mixed portfolio of commercial, local authority and domestic premises
• Safely collecting samples from site for analysis
• Producing site‑specific asbestos survey reports
• Meeting with clients to provide advice on findings
• Working to set personal targets and project deadlines
• Representing the company in a professional manner
• Ensuring to adhere to safety guidelines
