Tendering Proposals Engineer – Pumps (Technical Progression)

Location: East Kilbride – Glasgow

Salary: £46,000 – £51,000 + technical progression

• Provide customer‑focused service that delivers proposals in a timely and efficient manner.
• Review and evaluate detailed technical specifications to extract applicable client requirements.
• Establish and maintain regular communication with key clients, including, where necessary, site visits.
• Provide tendering support from initial enquiry to contract handover and develop and submit detailed proposals, ensuring high quality, timely delivery, and alignment with customer needs, scope, deadlines, company costs, and profits.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, negotiation, and collaboration.
• Support the growth of project size and scope through technical progression.

• Mechanical background in rotating equipment (pumps, valves, turbines, etc.)
• Previous experience in a Tendering or Proposals Engineer role (or a strong desire to develop in this area).
• Experience working in the rotating machinery / equipment product/service field is desirable.
• Strong relationship‑building, negotiation, and collaboration skills.
• Commitment to ongoing training, development and long‑term career progression.

• Junior or more senior candidates who can learn rapidly will be considered.
• Enthusiastic about upskilling and dedicated to client service.
