Your New Salary: 60-70k EUR depending on experience

Job status: Fully office based. 12 months FTC, with possibility to go permanent

Location: Rotterdam, Netherlands

Report to: CFO

To be successful in this role our client has said it is essential that candidates:

• Speak and write fluent Mandarin
• Have Finance Accounting experience in Europe
• Are happy to start with a 12 months FTC (with possibility to go permanent)
• Have valid working permit to work in the Netherlands
• Are happy to work 5 days in the office

What You'll be Doing:

1) SAP upgrade project

• Responsible for configuration, process design, and workflow optimization under guidance of project specialist and CFO;
• Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide feedback on system issues;
• Collaborate with IT, project specialist, and colleagues to ensure successful implementation.

2) Account Payable

• Handle the receipt, verification, and processing of supplier invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or payment issues.
• Assist with internal and external audits by providing required documentation.

3) Online Banking Payments Input

• Enter and schedule online banking payments in a timely and accurate manner.
• Ensure all payments are supported by proper documentation and approved per company policy.

4) VAT Returns and Compliance

• Collaborate with external accounting firms to prepare and file VAT returns accurately and on time.
• Maintain organized records of all VAT-related transactions.
• Respond to queries from the accounting firm or tax authorities as needed.

5) Audit Support

• Prepare required documentation and schedules for external audits.
• Liaise with auditors to provide necessary explanations and information.

6) Other tasks assigned by CFO

The Skills You'll Need to Succeed:

• Fluent Mandarin and English in writing and speaking
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance / Accounting / Tax or equivalent
• Relevant experience in Finance Accounting in Europe
• Capable of working independently and aligning with international teams.
• Good communication skills.
• Experience with SAP S/4
  
  HANA is a strong plus.
• Knowledge of international trade principles and practices would be an advantage.
