A well-established and highly regarded law firm is seeking an experienced Legal Cashier to join its busy Finance Team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented legal accounts professional to play a key role in the day-to-day financial operations of a successful firm, ensuring compliance with SRA Accounts Rules and maintaining high standards of accuracy and client service.

• Process client and office account transactions
• Reconcile client, office and petty cash accounts
• Manage CHAPS, BACS and Faster Payments
• Check completion statements and arrange completion payments
• Process incoming receipts and allocate funds accurately
• Handle banking, card payments and client interest calculations
• Process foreign payments where required
• Manage out-of-date cheques and maintain accurate records
• Respond to internal and external finance queries
  
  Ensure full compliance with SRA Accounts Rules
• Support the wider Finance Team with cashiering and administrative duties

• Minimum 2 years' legal cashiering experience
• Strong knowledge of SRA Accounts Rules
• Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Professional and team-oriented approach
• Experience using Partner for Windows is desirable
