Overview
Our local authority client, based in Surrey, is seeking an experienced Private Sector Housing Officer – Compliance to join the team on a full-time, 6-month contract. This role focuses on ensuring compliance across private sector housing, driving up standards and protecting residents through effective regulation and enforcement.
Responsibilities- Inspections
- Compliance monitoring
- Enforcement activity
- Advising landlords and stakeholders in line with housing legislation
- Background in local authority housing is a must
- Strong, practical understanding of statutory requirements and regulatory processes
Hybrid pattern (3 days on site, 2 days from home).
Salary: £45 per hour. Full-time, 6-month contract.
