Change Manager
A licensed family‑run dairy branch, Mller UK & Ireland, seeks a Change Manager to drive effective IT service management and ensure seamless business relationships across its divisions.
LocationMarket Drayton, Shropshire / East Kilbride – Hybrid arrangement; 3 days on site per week.

- Manage the configuration management life cycle
- Maintain the CL database and link it to other tools within Group IT
- Analyse, plan, measure and improve all aspects of the availability of IT services
- Ensure that services and infrastructure deliver agreed capacity and performance targets in a cost‑effective and timely manner
- Coordinate and advise the Change Manager on assessment, prioritisation and scheduling of changes
- Control the lifecycle of all changes to enable beneficial changes with minimum disruption to IT services
- Gather, analyse, store and share knowledge and information to improve efficiency
- Manage the lifecycle of all issues, prevent incidents and minimise their impact; maintain information about known errors and workarounds
- Ensure effective management of high‑priority tickets within the ITSM tool
- Coordinate teams for quick resolution to minimise business impact
- Act as point of contact for all incident queries and support major incidents, including whiteboard creation and liaison with problem and change management
- Support sub‑project management in the implementation of the ITSM framework
- Ensure optimal use of project/service management methods, tools and system resources
- Responsible for change management workflows in the ITSM tool and KPI reporting
- Promote communication with stakeholders and external service providers
- Provide expert support for users and relevant stakeholder groups
- Support optimisation of existing internal team processes and documentation
- Regular coordination with specialist departments on open topics
- Technical college degree
- Basic understanding of IT infrastructure and application management
- Experience in a SAP service‑management environment (beneficial)
- Working knowledge of the configuration management landscape
- Good understanding of framework and associated processes
- Proficient in ITIL & Service Management Processes
- At least 2 years’ experience in a change/ request ITIL environment
- Proven track record in incident and service level management, dealing with suppliers at all levels
- Systems management experience
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
