Solution Architect

Overview

SBA are currently supporting our Central Government client, seeking a Solution Architect on a 12-month contract located in East Kilbride (Hybrid).

• Stakeholder Management:
  Lead and influence stakeholders across multiple disciplines, crafting and advocating for long‑term technical vision aligned with business strategy.
• Communicating & Influencing:
  Translate complex technical concepts for technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Delivery:
  Hands‑on experience in technical and solution architecture.
• Making Effective Decisions:
  Provide practical decision‑making support.

• Technology Expertise:
  Broad understanding of industry‑standard technologies, both proprietary and open source, including Microsoft and Linux environments.
• Software & Infrastructure Expertise:
  Knowledge of software and infrastructure design considerations, and ability to guide data centre environments.
• Architecture Leadership:
  Experience leading architecture function, developing vision, principles, and strategy.
• Google Cloud Expertise:
  Design and implement Google Cloud solutions, optimizing IaC deployments for security, performance, and cost‑effectiveness.
• Eligible for SC level vetting.
