This role requires the successful candidate to hold or be willing to hold Security check (SC) clearance.
60/40 hybrid working from East Kilbride/Edinburgh or Glasgow
The Role at a Glance- Team: Tooling & Automation
- Focus: Cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, automation, and secure access
- Environment: Complex, large-scale, and collaborative
- Security & Repos: Hashi Corp Vault, Nexus, Bastion services
- Monitor & Check: Maintain live services and complete routine operational checks.
- Investigate & Solve: Troubleshoot incidents, resolve service requests, and escalated complex issues.
- Access Control: Administer user access and onboarding requests securely.
- Documentation: Maintain clear runbooks, support procedures, and user guidance.
- Tech Changes: Support controlled technical changes, service migrations, and stabilization.
- Experience supporting live IT services or operational tech environments.
- Good understanding of AWS cloud, operating systems, and networking.
- Exposure to CI/CD, automation, source control, or secrets management.
- Methodical troubleshooting skills and a strong attention to detail.
- Clear communication skills to support technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Understanding of Agile, Dev Ops, or ITIL ways of working.
- Direct experience with Jenkins, Git Lab, AWX, Ansible, Nexus, or Vault.
- Experience using Service Now or Jira.
- Relevant certifications (Cloud, Linux, Dev Ops, or ITIL).
