We are currently recruiting for an Audit Assistant Manager to join one of the South West’s largest and most rapidly growing audit teams. This role presents a unique opportunity to work across a broad portfolio of clients, including large corporates, fast-growing owner-managed businesses, educational trusts, and charities.

Responsibilities- Manage and deliver audits for a portfolio of varied clients, including larger, more complex engagements.
- Take ownership of audit assignments from planning through to completion, ensuring delivery within agreed timelines and budgets.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients during audit engagements, maintaining and strengthening relationships.
- Provide regular updates to Audit Partners on job progress, key risks, and technical matters.
- Ensure the quality of audit files meets the highest standards.
- Supervise, coach, and develop junior members of the audit team, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
- Conduct formal Performance Development Reviews and regular check-ins with team members.
- Identify opportunities for added value and contribute to business development initiatives.
- Engage in networking and internal activities aimed at supporting your pathway to Audit Manager.
- Demonstrable experience of leading audit assignments and managing client relationships.
- Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP and auditing standards.
- Ability to manage multiple engagements and priorities effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- A collaborative team player with a proactive attitude.
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own transport.
