We are currently recruiting for an Audit Assistant Manager to join one of the South West’s largest and most rapidly growing audit teams. Responsibilities
  • Manage and deliver audits for a portfolio of varied clients, including larger, more complex engagements.
  • Take ownership of audit assignments from planning through to completion, ensuring delivery within agreed timelines and budgets.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients during audit engagements, maintaining and strengthening relationships.
  • Provide regular updates to Audit Partners on job progress, key risks, and technical matters.
  • Ensure the quality of audit files meets the highest standards.
  • Supervise, coach, and develop junior members of the audit team, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
  • Conduct formal Performance Development Reviews and regular check-ins with team members.
  • Identify opportunities for added value and contribute to business development initiatives.
  • Engage in networking and internal activities aimed at supporting your pathway to Audit Manager.
Requirements
  • Demonstrable experience of leading audit assignments and managing client relationships.
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP and auditing standards.
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements and priorities effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A collaborative team player with a proactive attitude.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own transport.
