Yard & Warehouse Supervisor

Overview

We are looking for a Yard & Warehouse Supervisor to join us at PDM Glasgow!

PDM are Scotland’s leading supplier of Civils, Above Ground and Multi-Utilities products. Operating across our network of 10 branches in Scotland, we pride ourselves in our technical, knowledgeable, and loyal staff who located at all our depots, can provide technical assistance in offering best advice and solutions to our customers.

We rely on our Yard & Warehouse Supervisors to manage our busiest areas in branch, and work alongside our Yard & Warehouse Operatives and Drivers to make sure that products are readily available for deliveries and stock is maintained and stored correctly. Working in one of our branches you’ll be part of a team where everyone is putting the effort in to offer brilliant customer service and to get the job done.

• Managing the operations in the yard & warehouse on behalf of the Branch Management team and making sure that the team work in congruence with the rest of the branch
• Supporting with loading and unloading our vehicles
• Being responsible for goods inwards/outwards and documenting correctly on our computer systems
• Supporting the team and covering on the Trade Counter when required (training would be provided)
• Looking after stock, noting any faulty/damaged goods, low stock levels and reporting these to the Branch Manager

• Experience in a busy environment would be an advantage
• A Forklift Driving licence would be an advantage
• Willingness to participate in training and development
