Staff Nurse​/ODP - Recovery Theatres

We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate individual to join our Recovery Unit on a full time, permanent basis for our BAIRD family hospital. This is a crucial role in providing high-quality, patient centred care during the immediate post-operative period.

You will be responsible for the continuous assessment, monitoring and management of patients recovering from anaesthesia and surgery.
We are looking for individuals who have relevant experience working within post-anaesthetic care, or are experienced in acute care or a similar high-dependency setting within the NHS. You must be able to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team and be flexible and adaptable to changing service demands. You must also possess excellent communication skills, and be committed to ongoing professional development.

As the BAIRD family hospital is not yet open, you would work alongside our Breast and Gynaecology team in Main Theatre Suite, ARI, until the transition over to the new hospital.

An attractive relocation allowance of up to £8,000 is available to successful candidates.
