Job Description
Salary: $17/HR

What You’ll Do Day to Day- Provide administrative support to the HR Manager including scheduling, communication, and recordkeeping
- Maintain and update employee files, attendance records, and organizational charts
- Prepare new‑hire reports, absentee logs, and HR‑related documents
- Assist with recruiting efforts: posting jobs, reviewing applicants, and scheduling interviews
- Support onboarding and training processes for new employees
- Coordinate company events and employee engagement initiatives that reflect Smartlands values
- Handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity
- Ensure consistent communication with employees and prompt resolution of inquiries
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associates degree in HR or related field preferred)
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software quickly
- Detail‑oriented, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Team player with a proactive, can‑do attitude
- Experience in Human Resources, recruiting, or administrative support
- Familiarity with HR policies, procedures, and employment laws
- Event planning or employee engagement experience
- Background in property management or multi‑location business operations
- Struggle with organization, follow‑through, or time management
- Prefer working alone and avoid collaborating with others
- Are uncomfortable handling confidential employee information
- Have difficulty communicating clearly or managing multiple tasks
