Field Service Technician – Filler (Remote) Responsibilities
- Perform all duties in accordance with JBT safety policies, maintaining a safety‑focused work mentality.
- Perform maintenance and setup work on all Bevcorp products: capping, filling, seaming, blending machinery.
- Set up and adjust machines in the field and at Bevcorp facilities to equipment specifications.
- Troubleshoot and repair machinery mechanically (hydraulic/pneumatic) and electronically.
- Perform machine audits, repairs, and preventative scheduled maintenance.
- Install, commission, and set up Bevcorp products at customer facilities.
- Diagnose problems, dismantle machines, replace defective parts, reassemble.
- Identify & document root‑cause problem statements while troubleshooting.
- Changeover and change parts to run clearance and timing.
- Complete service reports in a timely manner.
- Provide training to customers and coworkers.
- Adhere to high‑quality assembly practices during job duties.
- Complete safety initiatives as required within JBT expectations (BBSOs, Near Misses, etc.).
- Cross‑train and contribute to internal testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance at Bevcorp facilities.
- 4‑6 years of mechanical/electrical or field service experience, including working knowledge of Bevcorp products.
- Minimum two‑year technical school training in a related field preferred.
- Basic computer skills (iPad, smartphone, email, Word, Excel).
- Intermediate proficiency with AutoCAD Mechanical and Electrical preferred.
- Experience serving customers and working as a team.
- Experience with Angelus seamers, Bevcorp blenders or fillers, CSI capping preferred.
- Manufacturing experience in the food and beverage industry preferred.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and passport or ability to obtain one.
You will be remote with up to 100% travel to customer plants, including nights and weekends.
CompensationEstimated hourly pay range: $24 – $33.
