Position Summary
The Maintenance Technician diagnoses, repairs, and prevents maintenance issues in occupied and vacant units. You will work independently, prioritize work orders, and keep each property in excellent condition.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled inspections and preventive maintenance.
- Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance issues.
- Turn vacant units within target timelines.
- Respond to urgent maintenance requests and rotate on-call after hours.
- Record work orders, photos, and parts in the mobile app; keep inventory organized.
- Coordinate outside vendors for specialized services when needed.
- 3+ years of residential or multifamily maintenance experience.
- Solid working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and basic carpentry.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and basic hand/power tools.
- Ability to lift 75 lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
- EPA 608, state HVAC, plumbing, or electrical certification.
- OSHA 10/30 training.
- Experience with mobile maintenance software.
