Cost Accountant

The Role

As Cost Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting the finance function within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will provide meaningful insight into product costs, inventory, and margin performance, helping to drive smarter decision-making across the business.

Working closely with operations and supply chain, this role offers strong exposure to the commercial side of the business and the opportunity to make a visible impact.

• Maintain and review product costing and margin analysis
• Support inventory accounting and stock reconciliations
• Assist with variance analysis and cost performance reporting
• Partner with operational teams to provide cost insights and efficiencies
• Contribute to month-end processes and ongoing reporting

• Experience with in a cost accounting or manufacturing finance environment
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Confident working with Excel and finance systems
• Able to build relationships with non-finance stakeholders
• Proactive and comfortable working in a fast-moving business

• £40,000 - £50,000 salary
