We're recruiting on behalf of a highly respected Top 35 accountancy firm with ambitious growth plans and an outstanding reputation for investing in its people. This role offers a split of 80% Accounts and 20% Audit.

• Preparing statutory accounts and management accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. As well as some involvement in audit cycles.
• Preparing and reviewing corporation tax computations.
• Managing a varied portfolio of client assignments from planning through to completion.
• Building long-term relationships with clients and providing excellent service.
• Using cloud-based accounting software including Xero, Sage and other industry-leading systems.
• Ensuring work is completed accurately, on time and within agreed budgets.
• Supervising, mentoring and supporting junior team members.
• Working closely with managers and partners on more complex assignments.
• Continuously developing your technical knowledge and commercial awareness.

• You will be ACA/ACCA qualified or a Finalist.
• At least 3 years' experience within a UK accountancy practice.
• Experience preparing statutory accounts for a range of business entities.
• Strong communication and client relationship skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Strong Excel and IT skills with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Experience with Xero, Sage, Caseware or CCH (desirable).
• A proactive attitude and the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively.
• A collaborative approach and a genuine desire to develop both personally and professionally.
