Location: Chandler's Ford
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Project Manager with experience in engineering, construction, site delivery, or installation-based environments.
Experience with in HVAC, retail fit-out, refurbishment, or M&E projects is highly desirable.
This role is suited to someone who can manage multiple concurrent projects, coordinate site teams and subcontractors, and ensure safe, high-quality delivery from planning through to handover. You will combine strong technical understanding with excellent communication and leadership skills.
The ideal candidate will be confident working in fast-paced environments, capable of problem-solving on site, and experienced in delivering projects on time, within budget, and to specification.
Key Responsibilities- Manage end-to-end delivery of construction/installation projects
- Coordinate internal teams and subcontractors across multiple sites
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
- Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project requirements
- Develop and maintain detailed project programmes and schedules
- Allocate and manage resources effectively across sites
- Manage project variations, scope changes, and cost control
- Conduct site inspections, pre-start meetings, and project handovers
- Produce Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS)
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and quality standards
- Monitor project progress and provide weekly reporting to senior stakeholders
- Identify and elevate risks, delays, and commercial impacts
Maintain strong relationships with site teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders - Track project performance, including revenue and delivery milestones
- Drive continuous improvement in safety, efficiency, and delivery standards
- Support workforce planning including scheduling and leave coordination
- Background in engineering, construction, site management, or installation projects
- Experience in HVAC, retail fit-out, refurbishment, or M&E environments (preferred)
- Strong project planning and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong leadership and team coordination skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Strong understanding of health & safety legislation and RAMS processes
- Problem-solving mindset with ability to adapt on site
- Confident using project management tools and reporting systems
- Experience managing subcontractor-heavy environments
- Exposure to commercial or retail project delivery
