Prospero Teaching is thrilled to be working with a vibrant SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health) School in Eastleigh, Hampshire. We are seeking a passionate Sports Coach / Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team and help shape an active, inclusive curriculum.

This is a unique opportunity to combine physical education, outdoor learning, and community engagement to make a real difference in the lives of young people. Youll support pupils with SEMH needs both academically and pastorally, while promoting confidence, resilience, and teamwork through sport and outdoor activities.

Hours:

Monday-Friday, 8:30 am- 16:00 pmWhat Were Looking For:

A genuine passion for supporting young people with SEMH needs.
Strong communication, resilience, and adaptability.
Previous experience in sports coaching or PE delivery.
Level 2 Sports Coaching qualification (or equivalent) desirable.
Experience working with young people in educational or coaching settings.

Requirements:

Right to Work in the UK.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply).
Two professional references (including one child-related).
