About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Science Teacher to join a high‑performing secondary academy from after Easter through the end of the summer term. There is potential for the role to continue until July 2026.

You will be teaching Science across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, delivering engaging lessons that support students’ understanding of key scientific principles and prepare them effectively for GCSE pathways. A well‑structured curriculum is already in place, enabling you to focus on high‑quality delivery and differentiated support.

The role is suitable for both experienced teachers and ECTs. Teachers trained overseas with strong knowledge of the UK curriculum are also welcome to apply.

Ideal Candidate

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Recent experience teaching Science at KS3 & KS4
Confident lesson delivery across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics fundamentals
Strong classroom management and ability to build positive relationships
Commitment to delivering engaging, well‑structured lessons
Collaborative, flexible, and proactive in contributing to the Science department
