I am representing a high-growth company that is currently redefining the boundaries of portable quantum technology. Following a major research contract win, they are looking for a hands‑on Electronics Systems Engineer to them

This is a "UK eyes only" role due to the nature of the projects. It is an ideal move for an engineer who thrives in a fast‑paced R&D environment.

You will be at the heart of the design and optimisation of advanced electronics for miniaturised cold atom systems.

• Collaborate with scientists to translate complex quantum requirements into high-performance electronic hardware.
• Own the full lifecycle of low‑noise analog and digital circuits, from initial concept to PCB layout and prototyping.
• Implement and refine data acquisition systems for experimental hardware.
• Debug and optimise complex electronic systems to ensure mission-critical reliability.
• Integrate next‑generation quantum devices with robust electronic control platforms.

BSc / MSc in Electrical or Electronics Engineering (PhD or Systems Engineering background is highly valued).

3+ years of commercial experience in high-performance electronics design and prototyping.

Strong proficiency in analog & digital circuit design and PCB layout.

Experience with GHz RF circuits or high-speed digital systems is highly desirable.

A background (or interest) in cold atom physics, FPGA development, or quantum sensors / computing.

Financial : Competitive £40k base + guaranteed bi‑annual milestone bonuses (paid June & Dec) + equity / share options.
