This is a senior commercial role responsible for establishing regional strategy, driving distributor performance and delivering sustained revenue and margin growth across the USA.
The position combines strategic leadership with hands on market development and frequent international travel.
Key Responsibilities
Own and deliver the regional sales strategy for North America, aligning with group financial and growth objectives.
Lead and develop distributor relationships, driving revenue, margin and market share performance.
Identify new market opportunities, vertical growth areas and product adjacencies to expand regional presence.
Manage end to end distributor performance, analysing metrics and implementing clear action plans.
Act as the primary link between international distributors and internal engineering, manufacturing and commercial teams.
Support product launches, gather voice of customer insights and feed back into product development.
Provide technical and commercial guidance including basic hydraulics and pump application support where required.
Drive accountability for sales, orders and profitability in line with Pump Sales and Manufacturing objectives
Skills and Experience
Proven experience in international sales or business development, ideally covering North America.
Strong track record selling engineered equipment within construction, wastewater or related sectors.
Ability to build and execute 3 to 5 year regional growth frameworks with distributor networks.
Financially astute with experience managing margins, forecasts and commercial performance.
Confident communicator with strong presentation and stakeholder management skills.
Pump or pump rental knowledge advantageous but not essential.
NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent advantageous but not essential.
Full UK driving licence and valid passport with unrestricted ability to travel to North America essential.
