Hours: 38 hours
Salary: Base pay ranges £38,144.10 up to £45,284 per annum (depending on skills and experience)

AboutThe Role
Join our Water Supply Team, to play a vital part in the frontline of our day-to-day maintenance of, and repairs to, Water supply works, reservoirs and booster stations to ensure all environmental, quality and customer service standards are met, whilst meeting H&S legislation and achieving budgetary targets.
What You Will Be Responsible For- Able to demonstrate an in-depth understanding of pumping station operation and the water treatment process.
- A problem solver, able to identify potential issues and implement solutions, or escalating if required.
- An excellent communicator, providing technical expertise to Internal and External contractors.
- Resilient, adapting to the pressures of work and working in a constantly changing environment.
Additional Requirements Standby cover required on a 1-in-x Rota basis.
Essential- What you’ll bring to the role:
- Level 3 NVQ Mechanical and/or Electrical qualification with certificates.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Experience in water industry.
- Strong understanding of pumping station operation and water treatment process.
- Knowledge of health and safety legislation.
