We're looking for a Finance Officer to join our client's Purchase Ledger team to make sure their customers continue to receive a service second to none and to constantly reduce creditor payment times and improve team performance. This is a six-month role working for a housing association.

Good eye for detail is essential since you'll be responsible in making sure that invoices are accurate and that any discrepancies are reported to the relevant departments. You'll ensure that all payments are being made in a timely manner.

You'll be an ambassador for our client's internal and external customers alike so professionalism, politeness, and a genuine desire to go above and beyond will all be musts.

We're looking for someone who's pro-active, have an eye for detail and the ability to process high volume data and good written and verbal communication skills.

Requirements:

Experience of working within a finance environment for at minimum of 2 years.
Proven high standard of accuracy regarding data entry.
Ability to work in a high-volume transaction environment.
Good communication skills and ability to respond to queries with a high level of customer service.
Basic understanding of Microsoft Excel.
