Value Capture & Cost Senior Analyst: We are looking for an analytical and commercially minded Value Capture & Cost Senior Analyst to support the financial governance of a large-scale integrationprogramme.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in tracking costs, benefits andprogramme performance while providing insightful analysis to support businessdecision-making. Working closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation, particularly Finance and the Integration Management Office (IMO),you will ensure that financial information is accurate, meaningful and alignedto strategic objectives.
Your workwill help leaders understand programme performance, realise planned benefit sand identify opportunities to maximise value delivery.
Reporting tothe Value Capture & Cost Manager, you will support the financial governanceof the integration programme through accurate cost tracking, benefitsrealisation monitoring, forecasting and reporting.
You will maintain key financial models, challenge assumptions where appropriate and provide high-quality analysis and insight that supports effectivedecision-making across the programme.
Main Responsibilities as Value Capture & Cost Senior Analyst:- Produce and consolidateprogramme performance reporting for governance forums, Steering Committees and Board-level stakeholders.
- Maintain the integration costtracker, benefit realisation tracker and supporting financial models,ensuring data integrity and alignment to agreed baselines.
- Monitorsynergy and benefit delivery against approved targets, providing clearreporting on performance, risks and opportunities
- Prepare regular reporting packscovering Cost to Achieve (CtA), synergy delivery, forecast performance and progress against plan.
- Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities, ensuring Finance teams have visibility of programme developments and associated impacts.
- Review, challenge and validateupdated synergy submissions from functional work streams to ensure accuracy, consistency and alignment with agreed assumptions.
- Partner with Finance, the Integration Management Office (IMO) and business stakeholders to maintain robust financial governance, reporting standards and methodologies.
- Identify, assess and trackfinancial risks and opportunities across the programme, escalating issuesand recommending corrective actions where required.
- Deliverad hoc financial analysis, scenario modelling and insight to support strategic decision-making and value capture initiatives
- Manage competing priorities effectively, delivering accurate and high-quality outputs within agreed timescales.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including financial modelling and analysis of large datasets.
- Essential accounting experience with a strong understanding of financial controls, budgeting and forecasting.
- Professionally qualified (ACA,ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Highly numerate with exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong analytical capability with the ability to interpret complex financial information.
- Able to translate financial datainto clear and meaningful business insights.
- Strategic thinker who canbalance detailed analysis with a broader commercial perspective.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, organised andable to manage competing priorities effectively.
