Salary: £65,000-£80,000+ DOE
PQE Level: 4+ PQE
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Hours: Full-time
A leading national firm is seeking an experienced Court of Protection Solicitor to join its expanding Southampton team. This role involves working within a highly regarded department specialising in the property and financial affairs of individuals who lack capacity due to injury, illness, or age-related conditions. You will manage a varied caseload, including Deputyship matters, statutory wills, complex financial arrangements, and high‑value settlements, while acting in the best interests of vulnerable clients and their families.

This position is ideal for a solicitor with solid Court of Protection experience who is passionate about making a meaningful difference in clients lives.
Responsibilities- Manage a varied caseload within Court of Protection, including Deputyship matters, statutory wills, complex financial arrangements, and high‑value settlements.
- Act in the best interests of vulnerable clients and their families, ensuring compliance with regulatory and professional standards.
- Contribute to client engagement and wider business initiatives within a collaborative, supportive team environment.
- Work with autonomy while maintaining empathy, precision, and clear communication.
- Qualified solicitor with 4+ PQE (as stated).
- Solid Court of Protection experience.
