Family Solicitor (NQ-4 PQE)

Location: Southampton
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Working pattern: Full-time (35 hours) | Hybrid working available

We are recruiting for a Family Solicitor (NQ-4 PQE) to join a top-tier, Legal 500 ranked Family team based in Southampton
.

You will join a well-established Family department with a strong regional reputation, handling a varied caseload with supervision and support from senior colleagues. The work includes:

• Financial matters arising from divorce
• Children matters
• Cohabitation disputes
• Pre- and post-nuptial agreements
• Complex financial cases, including rural and agricultural family matters

You will also be encouraged to take part in business development and networking activities
, with the firm actively supporting junior lawyers in building their profile and long-term career.

• Newly Qualified Solicitor with relevant Family seats or Assistant Solicitor up to 4 years' PQE
• Experience or strong exposure to private Family law
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload
• Strong communication skills with a client-focused approach
• Comfortable seeking supervision and support when needed
• Interest in business development and relationship building
• A collaborative team player with ambition to progress
